A huge navigational aid that washed up on Grève d'Azette beach has been recovered.
The green shipping lane marker caught the attention of lots of islanders over the weekend:

Ports of Jersey had to enlisted some heavy machinery to retrieve the East Rock Buoy, which had broken anchor in rough seas.
It will be put back in place when weather and sea conditions allow.
In the meantime, a navigation warning that it is missing has been issued to shipping.
