There's some new chicks on the block in Jersey!
Two baby Northern Bald Ibis chicks have hatched and are settling into their new home at Jersey Zoo.
Simon James, Deputy Curator of Birds at Jersey Zoo, said:
"They're doing really well. They're quite different from the adults, you'll be able to tell them, they're big enough now on the cliff that you'll be able to see them standing up and moving around and their parents will be feeding them.
"They won't have that kind of beautiful bald head that the adults have! They're still quite dark around the side of the face, their beak is black, and they'll hold onto those dark juvenile feathers for another year or so.
"Next year, they'll start to lose those feathers, they'll start to develop that baldness, and start to look like the adults."
The Northern Bald Ibis were completely wiped out in Europe 400 years ago and nearly went extinct worldwide.
It has been a busy few weeks at the zoo, which has also welcomed a new gorilla, baby capybaras, and its first ever red panda!
