A new nursing and complex needs home for Les Amis is set to be completed in September.
The charity which supports islanders with leaning disabilities says it on track for an autumn opening.
The five bedroom facility called Maison des Amis is being developed on Rue de Bechet.
Les Amis raised £3.5 million to buy the property and do the work to expand its specialist care provision.
Maison des Amis will provide higher nursing care for people who have additional needs due to age or dementia.
Shaun Findlay, Managing Director of Les Amis, said: “The work to bring this much-needed facility from the design stage to the point where we can soon start fitting it out is a great achievement for everyone involved in the project.
"Maison des Amis will allow us to provide specialist and end-of-life care, something that we simply cannot do in our group residential homes.
"This is the first facility of its kind in the Channel Islands and will enable us to care for our residents and service users with dignity, continuity and the right level of medical support.”
Progress was shown off to Jersey's Lieutenant Governor Sir Jerry Kyd, who is a patron of the charity.
An official opening is planned for 17 September.
