Diversions on Rouge Bouillon are to remain in place this weekend, while teams continue to repair the sinkhole.
A burst water pipe caused the ground to fall away underneath the road and cracks to appear on a property on the corner of Clarendon Road.

We're told Jersey Water engineers have now repaired the pipe, though the main road will remain closed over the weekend.
Clarendon Road is now open southbound towards St Helier, with diversions in place for both motorists and pedestrians.
Take a look at the latest map of closures:

The affected building is still being monitored monitoring, with Infrastructure and Environment teams assessing repairs to the area.
Islanders have been urged to only travel to the area if necessary.
Further updates are expected after 1.00pm on Monday, 23 December.
