A man has been arrested following a disturbance involving up to 20 people outside a St Helier restaurant.
A man in his late 30s or early 40s was attacked and allegedly kicked several times whilst laying on the ground on Saturday night (11 December).
Police say up to 20 people were involved in a row outside the Tropical Bistro at the junction of David Place and Stopford Road.
The force says the victim - who was wearing a black jumper, black jeans, and black trainers - was walking with his friends along David Place when he was assaulted.
He was treated in hospital for facial injuries and has since been discharged.
One man was arrested, but no one has been charged.
Officers are looking for a man seen running away from the area before the police arrived.
He is described as around 18 years old, tall, skinny, with short blonde hair, wearing a blue and white long-sleeved polo shirt, blue jeans and black and lime green trainers.
Anyone who was in the area at the time is being urged to come forward, particularly anyone who recorded what happened on their phone.
