Organisers of this weekend's festival 'Up-there' have cancelled the event.
In a post on social media, they say what they would have 'realistically delivered' on Saturday wasn't what they intended, and they'd rather cancel than deliver a 'scaled-back' version.
After reviewing the final shape of the event and what we can realistically deliver this weekend, we don’t believe we can deliver UP-THERE in the way it was intended.
Rather than put on a scaled-back version of the event that doesn’t live up to what we set out to create, we’ve taken the difficult decision to cancel.
They have thanked supporters who 'backed the concept' from 'day one', and say they are 'truly sorry'.
All ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund via FIXR; they say there is no need to contact them to request a refund.
