Assistant Education and Treasury Minister Richard Vibert has resigned from the the top table to support the vote of no confidence in the Chief Minister.
The Constable of St Peter is the third resignation from the Council of Ministers, with Deputies Tom and Rose Binet stepping down to lodge the vote.
The vote remains on a knife edge, with those who have confirmed how they will vote at 20-19 against Deputy Kristina Moore's leadership.
Deputy Moore needs a simple majority of 25 to stay in her role.
