The dispute with teachers over the 2018 to 2020 pay award is now over, after NASUWT members accepted the States Employment Board's latest pay offer.
It's been agreed after months of prolonged negotiations, which also involved a day of strike action and weeks of teachers refusing to cover absent colleagues.
The offer includes RPI plus 1.3% for 2020, with an additional 0.8% funded through reforms that produce savings.
It's the same deal that fellow teaching union the National Education Union accepted its offer last month.
However the NASUWT insists it's got a better outcome, after resolving problems over supplementary allowances.
Rep Marina Mauger has apologised for the disruption to families and hopes the future of teaching in Jersey can be really positive.
"I've found it hugely stressful that children's education has been compromised, I didn't ever agree with that which is one of the reasons we only did a strike action for one day and then did action short of strike action. (The NEU went on strike eight times in May)
"The time has come to put all this to bed and to say let's get on with doing the job we're paid to do. Let's educate our children."
Over the three years (2018-20) and based on a September RPI of 3.1%, the deal represents a 9.4% consolidated rise, plus 2.1% of non-consolidated (one-off) cash payments.
