A man found badly injured at Springfield stadium has died in hospital.
He's been named as 65-year-old Melvin Christopher Murphy.
A Police investigation was launched after he was found near the entrance gates to Springfield Stadium on Saturday night and taken to hospital by ambulance.
He'd been seriously assaulted, and Police have now confirmed he died late last night.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to an argument that's believed to have started outside the Robin Hood pub sometime between 10:30 and 11:30pm on Saturday.
Anyone in the area at the time with dash-cam or CCTV footage is asked to hand it in.
A 50-year-old man initially detained for grave and criminal assault has now been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and remains in Police custody.
Both men were seen arguing earlier in the evening in the entrance to the Robin Hood Pub.
Jersey Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
