Six women from the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club have completed a relay swim around the island.
The team swam around 36 miles on Friday in just 10 hours 27 minutes.
Jean Rhodes, Rachel Sayers, Rhiannon Patel, Claire Pedley, Janine Ward, and local swim legend Sally Minty-Gravett set off from St Helier at 8:47 am and took turns to swim an hour, anticlockwise around the island.
Everything fell into place on 26 July with the sea and weather conditions as well as the support from friends, family and other members of the JLDSC.
The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. They are celebrating with several swims in various locations in the island.
More than 600 swimmers have joined in the 18 swims so far.
