The Jersey Football Association has announced a Christmas community initiative, to support islanders experiencing loneliness or social isolation during the festive period.
The Jersey Football Association is hosting football matches on Monday, 22 December, for islanders to turn up, play, and socialise.
At Les Quennevais, from 1.30 - 3.30 pm, small-sided football games will be free to play in the sports hall.
The free afternoon kick-about is for adults (16+) of all abilities and ages, and will encourage conversation and gentle football activity.
Attendees are welcome to take part in the games, but those who prefer can go along for a chat, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and grab a mince pie.
There’s no need to register in advance; islanders can simply turn up at Les Quennevais from 1.30 pm on Monday.
