Two people have been rescued after getting into difficulty while paddle-boarding off Jersey’s south coast.
Jersey Fire & Rescue Service launched its inshore rescue boat between the Dicq and La Mare slipways.
Both the paddleboarder and their passenger were wearing buoyancy aids but struggled to paddle back to shore due to the wind speed and direction and risked becoming exhausted.
They were brought to safety without any injuries.
A Coastguard officer and gave them some words of advice.
Following a recent appeal, the rescue services highlighted that - on this occasion - both slipways were clear which allowed them 'unrestricted access' and a 'quick launch and recovery.'
