A man has been charged with vandalising mobile phone masts in Jersey.
44 year old Mariusz Szymanski faces six counts of malicious damage relating to five JT sites in St Ouen, St Lawrence and St Mary, and a radio transmitter in Trinity.
He appeared in Magistrate's Court earlier, where he was remanded in custody until his next appearance at the Royal Court on 5 September.
The 'extensive damage' was done within a little over 24 hours between Wednesday evening (2 July) and the following night.
Police appealed for the public's help to locate a suspect seen in the St Lawrence area early on Friday morning.
A 44 year old man was later arrested in St Mary.
