A Polish man has been charged with importing nearly 10kg of cannabis resin into Jersey.
Customs Officers seized the drugs, along with a commercial quantity of what's thought to be MDMA powder (ecstasy), from a vehicle that arrived by ferry from Poole last Friday (24th May).
The cannabis has a street value of nearly £200,000.
39 year old Lukasz Przydanek, a resident in Liverpool, appeared in the Magistrate's Court yesterday and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance in June.
