This year's Liberation Day service will again be limited because of Covid restrictions.
Organisers say the cap on gatherings of 20 people mean a major public event would be impractical and unrealistic.
It will be hosted online instead and include a public address from the Bailiff, a service of thanksgiving, and a re-enactment of the Liberation.
Last year's extensive 75th anniversary celebrations were shelved because of the pandemic and a replaced with a revised programme of virtual commemorations which included the Bailiff making a video address from one of the balconies of the Royal Court building.

The virtual programme for Sunday 9th May will be:
10:30 Special States Sitting with a limited number of States members attending due to physical distancing.
10:50 Musical Originals to sing
10:55 Bailiff’s public address
11:00 Service of Thanksgiving by the Dean of Jersey from the Town Church
11:05 Beautiful Jersey sung by Musical Originals soloist
11:02 Re-enactment of the Liberation including the Jersey Field Squadron retracing the footsteps of F135
11:06 Flag raising/National Anthem
Details of how to watch the event will be shared shortly.
The Liberation Music Festival and Lib Stream, which ran last year for Liberation75, will also be running entertainment and music programmes online that people can enjoy at home.
It is likely parishes will hold their own tea parties in June when restrictions on gatherings are further eased.
"This is certainly disappointing as we had hoped to continue with a number of projects from 2020 however plans are now underway to enable Liberation 77 to be the Liberation day that we have all missed." - Bailiff's Chambers.
