The animal welfare charity is shutting down its shop in Sion due to financial pressures.
The JSPCA also puts it down to increasing costs and reduced footfall due to roadworks in the area.

Pam Aubert, CEO of the JSPCA, says this has been a very difficult decision as the shop has been a way for our community to connect with and support the charity and importantly raise awareness for the charity.
"Unfortunately, given the current economic environment and reduced footfall, it is no longer sustainable to operate the shop in its current form.
"Future retail activity will be considered as part of a strategic review, but it is too early to say what that will look like at this stage.
"We would like to thank our employees, volunteers and customers for their dedication and support over the past five years."
Islanders will no longer be able to make donations at the shop, and existing stock will be donated to other charities.
The last day islanders can visit the shop will be Saturday, 25 April 2026, but there will be a closing-down sale from Friday, 17 April.
People can still support the charity by buying essential animal care items, food, becoming a member, making online donations and by supporting its events.
