If you still need some help to feel festive... try a visit to Grands Vaux!
Ok, it's not Lapland - but the lights that festoon number 9 Whiteley Close can't not make your heart glow.
John Hammon has been decorating his house since 2005, and is hoping for a bumper year for visitors this Christmas:
"All the money goes to Cancer Relief Jersey, and so far over the years we have probably hit £10,000.
It is for a very good cause."
He is hoping islanders will put a visit on their list of last-minute Christmas preparations.
"I take my working holidays in November to do the Christmas lights. I don't go on holiday - I just enjoy doing it.
We made a sleigh for the kids this year - handmade, from donated wood.
The neighbours love it! One of my neighbours comes by every night and puts money in the charity pot. We give him a little sweet and he sits in the sleigh."
