A new duty free shop is to open at Jersey's Elizabeth harbour.
It will be operated by Capi Duty Free Ports in the terminal building in time for the summer season.
Ports of Jersey says motorists will be able to order from the car lanes, or passengers can order in advance online and collect purchases after clearing security.
A secure unit will be built to store duty free alcohol and other items.
Capi Duty Free Ports (part of B&S) has been given a three year contract following a tender process.

With this new opportunity we will provide visitors and residents travelling from Jersey our strong Duty Free offer.” - Guus Jonge Poerink, Managing Director of Capi.
A purpose built duty-free shop is part of the Harbour Master Plan. The first planning application for the redevelopment of the Elizabeth Harbour was submitted last week.

Ports of Jersey says the new facility will open as soon as the required permissions and licences are issued.
