A Manche Illes crew member who died in an 'incident' at Jersey's Victoria Pier has been named as Bernard Jambon.
The 63-year-old was pulled out of the water at the harbour in the early hours of 23 July.
He was taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.
In a statement online, the ferry company said he was 'unanimously appreciated' and will 'always be remembered for his kindness and good humour'.
A police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is ongoing.
