Nine in ten islanders say they feel safe in their neighbourhood.
But the annual Jersey Opinions and Lifestyle survey revealed almost two thirds are worried about being a victim of digital crime.
Almost 80% of the 1,100 people who answered the States survey said they felt safe walking alone at night in Jersey.
That includes seven in ten women.
The vast majority think Jersey Police do a good job. But the fear of online fraud and other internet crimes is exposed, with 6 in 10 of us saying we're very or fairly worried about being a target.
9% of respondents reported being a victim of prejudice or abuse in the past year.
