Islanders are being urged to delay their morning journeys after winds of more than 70mph battered the island overnight, bringing down trees and debris.
The clean up is continuing, but government officials say we should consider delaying our journey or working from home.
They say emergency services have been working through the night to clear roads across the island and make them safe.
"The clean-up work is continuing but there will be delays and disruption for commuters. Islanders are therefore being urged to delay their morning journeys and consider home-working wherever possible." - Government of Jersey.

Schools and colleges are expected to be open as normal and Liberty Buses will be running.
Schools will make allowances for pupils arriving late for lessons.

The Emergency Services are dealing with a large number of calls from members of the public reporting fallen trees.
Police are advising Islanders to be patient and to only dial 999 in an emergency and report non-urgent storm damage and trees down on 612 612 or post directly to the Police social media pages or call the Parish Halls.
