Artwork by the world-renowned Damien Hirst is coming to Jersey this weekend.
The artist, who became a household name due to putting dead animals in formaldehyde in the name of art, will have some art on display in Jersey.
Damien is showing his new work at JARO gallery as part of its summer exhibition, which opens this weekend (6 July).

Seven works by Damien Hirst will be on display including his Butterfly Empress Series.
Two of his original circular spin paintings will also be out for islanders to look at; these will be accompanied with artwork from Jersey artists and other creators from the UK.
This includes local talent Bluntroller - who's known for his spray paint style which celebrates Jersey's art scene.
Work from London artists Mr. Controversial, who creates artwork challenging the status quo and Opake - who produces graffiti-inspired pieces.

Jasmine Noel who owns JARO gallery says having Damien Hirst's work is big news for Jersey. "I'm always trying to bridge the gap between the London and Jersey art market so it's really exciting to have such a big, well-known artist over to work with the other artists that we've got involved."
The exhibition will be open for daily viewings from 6th July - 9th August.
