Coronation Park will be closed for six days while huge storm-damaged tree roots are removed.
Islanders will not be able to visit the park at Millbrook from Monday 4 March to Sunday 10 March.
Heavy machinery is being used to clear what's left from Storm Ciaran, almost five months after the devastating weather.
The government says it is 'essential' that people do not enter the park during this time.
The team is removing root plates, filling deep holes and levelling boarders ready for tree planting season in October.
