This year's Battle of Flowers floats are getting another outing today, for the 2018 Christmas Parade.
The free event starts at 4:45pm, leaving from Maritime House and passing by the Waterfront, Liberation Square and the bus station.
Organiser, Jackie Donald, hopes it'll give islanders that festive feeling:
"Our annual Christmas Parade has become an Island favourite and while we cannot guarantee the weather we hope the community will come along to support it and come away feeling a little more festive "
For the first time, a new trophy for 'Best Adapted Float' will be awarded and the event will be streamed online to try and attract visitors to come to the island for next year's event.
