British Airways will fly to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports from Jersey this summer.
The airline previously flew to Gatwick before it consolidated its operations during the Covid-19 pandemic, moving all London flights to its base at Heathrow.
At the time, we were told the move was only temporary, but the choice of flying to Gatwick with EasyJet or Heathrow with BA has proved popular with islanders.
The new link between Jersey and Heathrow has been secured for at least the next five years after a deal was struck between British Airways and Ports of Jersey earlier this month.
It's understood the re-established Jersey flights - along with all of BA’s Gatwick services - will be operated by the company’s new ‘EuroFlyer’ subsidiary.
It was set up last year to serve short-haul routes under the British Airways brand, but at a reduced operating cost for the airline.

It means passengers can now fly to Gatwick with either EasyJet or British Airways.
BA’s Gatwick flights are due to operate once a day, seven days a week, starting on Sunday 19 June.
Outbound flights are planned to leave Jersey around 8am every day, arriving at Gatwick just over an hour later.
Flights arriving from Gatwick are due in to the island late in the morning or early in the afternoon.
Jersey Airport director, Robin MacRae, says he welcomes BA's plans:
"The announcement from British Airways is good news for residents and visitors as it offers another travel option between the island and London’s second-largest airport, London Gatwick.
The British Airways link will complement existing Island connectivity and provide additional capacity to further support demand during the peak summer period."
