Staff from all of the blue light services work together after a car went over the cliffs at Jerbourg.
A member of Guernsey's Ambulance Service has praised the team work shown at Jerbourg in Thursday ( 20 June) after a car crashed over the cliff top and landed in the undergrowth nearly 200 feet below.
If it had fallen much further it would have tumbled onto rocks at Telegraph Bay.
Jim Cathcart says all of the emergency services, and volunteers, were called to the car park, which was immediately cordoned off:
"We regularly respond to incidents with the Fire Service and Guernsey Police. It's more unusual to have all of the services there, including the Coastguard, the Cliff Rescue Team and Civil Protection Volunteers."
He says all of the agencies worked well together:
"Senior officers were deployed to the scene and they were able to communicate together and co-ordinate their plan with an understanding of the risks involved and how to best manage the situation."
He says training for incidents like this happens regularly:
"There'll be classroom training, online training, and we also practise these things in real life scenarios so that we are prepared when these things do happen."
It is understood the driver, who has not been named, is in hospital with multiple injuries.
