Les Misérables composer Claude-Michel Schönberg will host a masterclass for local students on 28th June during his visit to Guernsey.
Mr Schönberg is visiting the island to take part in an exclusive discussion with writer and broadcaster Edward Seckerson as part of the Victor Hugo in Guernsey Conference.
Joshua Black from Take A Left Productions says it's a great coup for Guernsey.
'I was so pleased when the legend that is Claude-Michel Schonberg agreed to come to St James,' he continued.
'Not only wil renowned interviewer Edward Seckerson be joining him, but also the incredibly talented West End performers Christina Allado and Daniel Koek will be performing some of Mr Schonberg's wonderful songs."
The masterclass will take place the day before the talk and will give youngsters the unique chance to work with the world-class composer.
