The issue of a lack of things to do is seen as being behind what some say is vandalism at Delancey Park.
The constables of St Sampsons say they've informed police of vandalism at Delancey Park, after a series of holes were dug in the dirt over several weeks.
They believe children have been bringing spades to the park to create jumps for their bicycles.
Senior constable Joe Abbotts says it's a health and safety issue.
"They're digging it right on a footpath track.
"If people are going down there in the dusk, you just cannot see, and you can fall down the hole and trip over the branches that they've used, and the logs they've used there was a bit of granite they used to use as a ramp as well to go over the hole they dug."
The constables shared images of the jumps on social media.
Guernsey Dad Sam Nichols says the response is unfair.
"Kids want to be outside, they want to be enjoying the great outdoors, they want to be riding their bikes with their mates.
"If we want to push our kids away from computer games and staring at screens all the time, we need to make more outdoor activities for them.
"It's not anti-social behaviour, it's some kids that have gone out into the sunshine, and they've built a jump for them to play on their bikes.
"It's a complete waste of police time for them to be patrolling a site like that and stopping kids from riding their bikes outside."
Sam supports building a pump track at Delancy Park.
The Guernsey Velo Club has spent years fundraising to build a track where riders use their momentum to ride over small mounds.
