The Covid-19 testing tent on Guernsey's Crown Pier has been destroyed by the high winds.
It was blown into the sea during last night's storm.
Guernsey Harbours has been using a crane to recover the debris.
Anyone scheduled for a test there is being urged not to attend. The authorities say they will be contacted to make an alternative arrangement.
Lateral Flow Tests will not be available from Crown Pier for the time being.
Covid response Programme Director Richard Evans says the tent was due to be taken down at the end of October anyway:
"Originally the tent was put up for visiting yachtsman, so the plan was to take the tent down towards the end of this month anyway. we were using it in the interim where people could pick up the Lateral Flow Tests we're offering. What we are saying at the moment is please don't come down to the Crown Pier. We are working on an alternative solution for that, and as soon as we've got that plan in place we will let everybody know where we can collect them from."
Mr Evans says the stock of LFTs has been secured in a shed at the harbours and none have been lost in the storm.
The strong winds have also brought down trees and debris across many island roads. The clean-up is continuing and people are being urged to take extra care.
