At-risk groups in Guernsey will begin receiving COVID vaccine booster invitations from today (4 September).
Guernsey's frontline health workers, care home residents, over 65s, carers and immunosuppressed islanders are all eligible for a COVID booster jab this autumn.
Invitations will arrive in the post from today (4 September). The letters will invite the recipient to call the Vaccine Contact Centre to make an appointment.
The first vaccines are expected to be given out on 18 September.
These will be primarily delivered at GP surgeries, but The States Vaccination Team says it will deliver doses to those unable to get there on their own.
Care home visits will be arranged with managers, and supplies will be sent to Alderney and Sark.
