Alderney's campsite could become home to a 25m inflatable swimming pool.
Alderney resident Paul Clark - who is behind the project - has been searching for a large and flat area to rig up the pool.
"I have been working with Buster Mac on the use of the campsite - as suggested by Zoe, the operator of the campsite.
"It is a positive leap forward that they are generally very enthusiastic. It has yet to be voted on but is very well supported.
"It is not a done deal but that is the one we are looking at now. It will be subject to the General Service Committees' approval as the landlord.
"It will then be subject to planning permission to have a change of use from grass to swimming pool."

Paul has kept the pool in storage on Alderney since 2024. He now hopes it will be up and operational as early as May.
The project is subject to approval of a planning application for the site's change of use, which is being submitted on Friday (20 March).
Paul says its operation will then need support from the community.
"The next thing we need to do is recruit some teachers, some pool operators, a committee to operate the club, so we are now going to be looking for volunteers."
